Highlights of the Hasselblad X2D 100C:
100 MP CMOS Sensor
With its 100-megapixel medium format back-illuminated CMOS sensor (BSI) and a native ISO of 64, the X2D 100C captures life in vivid colors and exquisite detail. With a color depth of 16-bit, it reproduces over 281 trillion colors. This immense color dimension, combined with a 15-stop dynamic range, enables the X2D 100C to capture the subtle nuances of highlights and shadows as they occur in nature.
In-Body Stabilization (IBIS)
The X2D 100C features 7-stops of in-body 5-axis image stabilization (IBIS), enabling sharp handheld shots. To better control the size and weight of the X2D 100C, Hasselblad developed the most compact medium format IBIS solution on the market. It meets the stringent stabilization requirements of a 100-megapixel medium format sensor while maintaining the camera’s light weight and portability.
Tiltable 3.6-inch Touchscreen
The 3.6-inch touchscreen provides a clear image even in strong light and can be tilted to various angles to suit different shooting needs. It supports a resolution of 2.36 million dots and ensures precise, true-to-life colors.
Highlights of the Hasselblad XCD 3.4/75P Lens:
Mastering Light and Shadow, Unleashing Brilliance
The XCD 3.4/75P features an optical structure composed of ten elements in ten groups, including one aspherical element and three ED elements that effectively reduce chromatic dispersion. This sophisticated design enables a compact footprint and ensures outstanding optical performance that fully meets the demands of a 100-megapixel sensor. Whether in the center or at the edges of the image, it delivers sharp, clear images and vibrant, lifelike colors. Compared to the XCD 4/28P and XCD 4/45P lenses in the same series, the maximum aperture of the XCD 3.4/75P has been increased from f/4 to f/3.4. This allows for better detail capture in low light and creates more attractive bokeh.
Diverse subjects with a unique perspective
The XCD 3.4/75P is the medium format lens with the longest focal length and largest aperture in the XCD P series. With an equivalent focal length of 59 mm, it sits between standard and medium-telephoto lenses, combining the advantages of both. It is suitable for full-length and half-length portraits, street photography, and still life photography. The longer focal length combined with the maximum aperture of f/3.4 creates soft, natural bokeh for appealing portrait shots. Its performance is comparable to that of the XCD 2.8/65, a lens known for its large aperture.
Elegance in Lightness
The XCD 3.4/75P continues the design language of the new generation of the XCD P series. The sleek metal body is accentuated by a signature “H” pattern around the focus ring, underscoring Hasselblad’s unmistakable style. Weighing just 398 g and measuring just 71 mm in length, it’s 45% lighter and 24% shorter than the XCD 2.8/65, making it ideal for portrait and street photography.
